Your website looks good

It just doesn't work.

You’ve tried different copy. New structure. Maybe even a redesign. And still.

I look at where the Websity Story breaks down and fix exactly that.
No new site or a rebrand. Just what's actually off.

For established business owners who already have traffic but not enough clients.

Why your website isn’t converting

Most business owners have a site that looks professional. But:

The message is too vague

Built for looks, not for conversion

Visitors don’t get it – or don’t believe it.

Your site is doing its best. The story just doesn’t hold. And you won’t fix that with harder work or another funnel.

What you need is a Website Story System that works: your message, your structure, your tech – as a whole. Not separate. Not disconnected.

It starts with seeing exactly where the story breaks down.

What a converting website does for you

More clients, without needing more traffic

You get results from the visitors you already have.

Radical clarity

Visitors understand immediately what you do and why they’d choose you.

Clear focus

You know what works. And you can go all in on that.

How the Website Story System works

Search

You finally understand why your website isn't selling.

We start with diagnosis:

  • Free AI scan
  • Personal video review
  • Website Story Audit — full written report

You’ll know exactly where it breaks down.

Shape

Your story gets structured so visitors make faster decisions.

Based on the diagnosis, we work out how to build your Website Story System – do it yourself, do it together, or have it done for you.

Sell

Your website does the work.

Not by magic. But structurally, because the Website Story is now right.

“It looks great, but it’s not delivering anything.”

You’re brilliant at what you do. But as soon as you have to sell it yourself, it gets sticky. Your site looks fine but doesn’t deliver enough. Sure, compliments but not clients. That stings. Because you know: there’s more in there.

I’m Marjan Crabtree (she/her). Strategic fixer. Sideways thinker. Gen-X with a Commodore 64 childhood. Half tech nerd, half language freak, still a work in progress and usually just a bit too Dutch direct. (Sorry. Not sorry.)

I work with business owners like you; brilliant at what they do, but stuck when it comes to selling it. Smart. Creative. Years of experience. But somewhere along the way, the website became a digital business card, when what you actually need is a silent salesperson. One that says what you mean, attracts clients without gimmicks, and works while you don’t.

Since ’95 I’ve been studying what makes things actually sell online. My first site ran on GeoCities. GIFs, Comic Sans, way too much colour. But hey, it worked. And that still fascinates me: why does one sentence convert, and another makes people leave?

I live on the Kāpiti Coast  with my husband, a teenager, and two cats (one black, one ginger).

The Second Opinion

You already know your website could do more. You just keep looking at it and not quite knowing where to start.

A weekly email. One observation, one story, or one small shift in how you look at your own site. Short enough to read with your coffee.

Not for beginners or for growth hackers. For experienced business owners who want less noise and a clearer view of their own website.
